I recall reading years ago about a professional male tennis player who was warming up for his match and went to catch his opponent's serve ... the ball caught his finger and broke it resulting in his retiring from the match ... before it even began.
Does anyone else recall this event and remember any of the details< particularly who the unfortunate player was?
